My 9-year-old daughter devoured it in two nights, and all I could hear from her was giggling and the occasional "Mum! It was really fun to read and I am really surprised Amber started standing up for herself and others! I really liked the first Lottie brooks book so I expected to much of this one but it was still a really good book it’s a funny book and you don’t have to stay super focused I would recommend it for when you can’t sit down and read it properly like in a waiting room or a busy holiday. My 10 year old daughter absolutely loves the Lottie Brooks series… if can be quite hard to find books for her age which are relevant but appropriate, and these are spot on! The other school are horrible and Jess, her best friend, is spending more time with the new girl, Isha, jealous.I am glad her birthday worked out good and that her parents stopped questioning her weirdness 😂 I can’t wait for the next book! My 12 year old reluctant reader took this book, read 100 pages in one night and proclaimed it 'the best book ever'Katie has managed to capture the essence of what this group think and feel in a positive, life-affirming fashion. Very funny, and also very relatable, the books are really good on there own but if you want some more character development and context I would read the first three. We collaborate with authors across all adult fiction genres, and also handle children’s books, young adult and cross-over fiction. They all set the story, and, you might now understand some of the jokes and references if you haven’t read them!
