When I tell you that Hannah is one of my absolute fav authors I mean that with every fiber of my being! She writes in a way that grabs your attention and holds it! The story line for this book was so so wholesome and my heart is so so full! We got to see two platonic people come together and fall in love in the best possible way!! Oakley and Ava meet one night at Oakley’s going away party as he transitions to the minor leagues. Oakley isn’t in the party mood, and Ava had just caught her boyfriend cheating. They end up talking for hours before going their separate ways. Five of the most twinkling stars for Miss Hannah Cowan and her writing. This book was one of my most anticipated reads of 2023 and it’s safe to say that it did not disappoint. It gave everything it was supposed to give and more. I was screaming, crying, throwing up, laughing, jumping up and down with excitement. It gave me all the feels, heart palpitations and all the butterflies, every thing wrapped up in this one awesome book. Childhood friends to strangers to lovers is one of my guilty pleasures and Hannah has done it SO SO right. I ATE this up. Read the whole thing in 2 sittings and it wasn’t 1 only because I had to sleep. Maddox and Braxton and their story is so beautifully portrayed, the angst and the frustration of separation of 8 years and then seeing the subtle ways they kept each other alive in their lives even after everything that went down had my heart. I loved every thing about this book and will recommend it to anyone and everyone. Please go read it, that’s all I’m gonna say because I think I found myself a new comfort read. You should 100% read this if you like the following tropes:

Ava had a rough start to life and she had surpassed it and is a lovely FMC. I love how she was able to have a mature conversation with Oakley instead of going off the rails and assuming the worst like we often see.On the other hand, after finally getting free of a toxic four-year-old relationship, Sierra decides to stay single for as long as possible. She only has her eyes set on getting a very much-deserved promotion at work; to her, the promotion is a straightforward plan. But after sending a one-night stand entangled in Braden’s sheets, the two will find it harder to continue living their normal lives. Or are they read for sex with no strings attached? One risky sex arrangement later, and they find their lives intertwined. Will they be able to keep their distance while having sex without strings attached, or will they give in to their strong desires for a relationship?

There Is No Other Friendship Like The One These Two Have. I Must Have Cried Four Or Five Times, And Each Time The Angst Was Just Right. The drama level was low. And I’d get pleasantly surprised by the *chefs kiss* communication in this book too. Now this isn’t a spoiler since it’s literally written in the book blurb, but…OMG ADDIE AND COOPER GETTING MARRIED?! OMG! After a drunken night, the next morning Addie and Cooper discovered they got married! Well at least Adam didn’t have to worry about finding someone for Cooper anymore lol! The idea of Adalyn and Cooper being married was unexpected, but also amazing because, what started off as an accidental marriage ended up becoming so much sweeter and enjoyable along the way for Cooper and Adalyn. I kid you not, I was LITERALLY waiting for that iconic moment when Cooper would refer to Adalyn as his wife in either a passionate romantic moment or in a protective alpha way. Either way I was vibing along and enjoying the story the more I read. I love marriages of convenience but this type of marriage was another kind I absolutely loved! THE PERFECT SUMMER READ! Adventures along the way with Adalyn and Cooper traveling the world from Spain to London, and other amazing places, it felt like I was on a mini vacation with them too! I had been eagerly waiting for this book to be released and as always, I’m an avid reader, fan, and lover of all things created by the wonderfully, creative Hannah Cowan. This story followed, Adalyn Hutton, the youngest of the Hutton family, and Cooper White, Adam White’s son, and long time family friend. This story had so many fantastic tropes from age gap, brother’s best friend/ best friend’s sibling (little sister), summer vibes, accidental marriage, swoon worthy romance, SPICE, funny banter, and much more! Of course, even seeing familiar faces from the first generation such as, Adam, Scarlett, Ava, Oakley, and then there was Maddox, Braxton, and others, it was all heartwarming to see these characters I’ve come to know and love deeply. Adalyn and Cooper had me excited, and the beginning set the tone for what I was going to read which was, a wildly, exciting time!

The premise drew me in, and in many ways, it does fulfil its promise. The descriptions of Eve's life with Gregg are detailed and vivid. There's no doubt about his systematic destruction of her. For me, there is too much detail and too many examples of abuse. I don't need to drown in detail to understand.This series is a second gen series and the family/friend dynamics are so so amazing. And when Maddox makes an appearance I about died. We love a protective older brother moment! I fell for Maddox HARD but Cooper gave him a run for his moneyyyyyy. The mouth on him? Bye. Cooper and Adalyn are two souls that were meant for each other. I loved the sweet moments between them, the skate park and all the beautiful moments between them on the trip had my soul melting. Plus all the smutty scenes😮‍💨😮‍💨 Once again Queen Hannah did not disappoint. The Characters Hannah Writes Constantly Leave Me Speechless; This Was My Second Time Reading The Novel, And I Liked It Even More The Second Time. Every Book Has At Least One Character With Whom You May Identify. I Played The Female Protagonist In This Story Alongside Braxton. Somebody I Cherish Beyond Measure. Another amazing gift for the book community by Hannah Cowan. Let's be real — everything she writes is an automatic five stars for me nowadays because of the stunning writing, family bonds and crispy characters with undeniable chemistry. This new series which has set itself apart from Sports Romances just became my new obsession. Hanna Cowen takes the reader behind the scenes and gives them a glimpse of what it is like for an NHL player. Maddox has been through a lot throughout his career, especially regarding the draft, finding the best team, and making a name for himself outside his father, who was also an NHL legend. He will do anything it takes to secure a contract with his team. On the other hand, Braxton is willing to do whatever it takes to gain Maddox’s trust and forgiveness for what happened years ago. And if a fake girlfriend is what Maddox needs, she is willing to commit to it. But as expected, the faking concept does not last long since the two have a strong connection that causes them pain when they separate. As a reader, you will enjoy seeing them forced to work through their issues and give each other a second chance at love and relationship.
